About Church

Fellowship is a better word for Church of the East. It is an international fellowship in the ethos of the Saviour, loosely organized as he did organize his first churches. Church of the East is the original RSP - Realnet Service Provider. We have been providing dial-up accounts since 45AD from our point of presence in Northern India. Today we are able to connect you at record speeds from anywhere in the world to surf the Realnet at your leisure - and still for the price of a local phone call. Seriously now. Lets try and get away from the Internet analogy. Umm... Ah... OK. Church of the East is more in the business of Realnet modem installation than in the RSP business. We can assist you, through continued fellowship, to have your own modem connection directly to the Realnet backbone. Once you have this, communication and fellowship with Truth and Happiness is at your modem button-tips.

Who are members of the Church?

Church of the East members are not saints (yet). We are average people trying our best to be less average and be of those exceptional few who can continuously walk the Way. It is not the saints who attend the courses, listen to the messages, work as volunteers, and who facilitate the mechanism of the Church. The saints probably need this type of fellowship less than we do. The saints are out there serving, giving, uplifting and bringing about reformation in their society.

There is really nothing that distinguishes the average Church of the East member from members of other religions or denominations. We do find however that the average Church member is a very devoted member who takes his/her quest seriously, and for whom it becomes a lifestyle.
