What about the Devil?

The Devil, or Satan, is a word that describes, or personifies (personifies=making it appear like a person) all evil spiritual beings. Spiritual beings are like us, brothers and sisters, that were created by God but chose the negative part of life. Satan is not one very strong evil spirit, but the collective consciousness of the whole wayward part of the family-almost forming their own clan. These are spirits, like us, and not all of them are presently incarnated (in a body), like us.

That is what they strive for though, they want to be back inside a human body so that they may experience all the earthly passions they like so much. Some of these spirits are clever enough to live through other bodies so that they may experience the passions again - this is called 'demonic possession'. But a demon is merely a spirit that is deliberately evil - that wants to be evil. God does not create angels or demons - God creates spirit children.

Demons are evil spirits that chose against God. They did not want to be a part of God and thus chose evil. When we talk about The Devil or Satan (and we don't do that if we can help it) - we are not referring to the main man of the demons and evil spirits, but we are talking about all of them together - they provide all the evil in this world.
