What is the Purpose of Life?

To grow into the full potential of our nature.

The universes are continually being created to provide the human spirit child with multiple opportunities to discover its true divine origin, to exert that divine nature, to practice at the art of divinity and thus to imitate Christ. This is the purpose of life.

Some children are deluded in thinking that the real game is Monopoly where they are defined by the number of hotels they 'own'. Others think it is a game of sensory excess where the aim is to satiate (as if that can ever happen) the enjoyment which sensory stimulation brings, and they eat, sex, dress, drink, drug, ego, compete, hoard, accumulate, and party till they drop - only to come back to try and learn the real purpose. Others are rather weary of repeated incarnations and find each round in the game to be increasingly tougher as the players toughen up - these ones tend to find a comfortable niche somewhere and shield themselves from the rest of the players= frivolous anarchy. Another feels him/herself to be a victim and spend his/her life being pathetic and/or apathetic.

Some ex-players who have gained the prize, who have discovered and walked the Way out, have gained so much humility and compassion that they wilfully return to the human condition to assist others in finding their way. Needless to say the self deluded, in the throes of passion of playing their games, are rather hard on these light bearers because they dislike the idea that someone could tell them their game is a virtual reality, a deluded reality, leading to future sorrow. The Children of Light may have it hard here, but they know the Reality, they know where their home is, where they are returning. Its only the Saviour and some in his troop who have vowed, out of compassion, to continue working here to bring Light, even though it may be for millions of years still until the last ones can go Home. This is what the Saviour meant when he said, 'A friend is one who lays down his life for another'. Not one life, not ten, but to remain in this realm, away from Paradise, Home and the presence of God for all the time it takes B this is a true Friend. He must really love us
