The Christian Bible is a product Christianity’s Roman Catholic Church of the 4th century. Most 90% of its canon consists of Hebrew Scriptures and the works of St. Paul. Some 2nd and 3rd century books called Gospels tell the story of The Saviour’s three-year ministry in Palestine from a Christian perspective, and a few late books attributed to other apostles are added to talk about church government.
Church of the East firmly believes that the Christian Bible reflects the essence of Christianity the way they intended it to be reflected. Church of the East studies the Christian Bible as a Christian specific Scripture. The absence of books and teaching by Apostles who studied under Jesus in the West in the Western Bible precludes it from reflecting the broad spectrum of Yesu’s teaching and spiritual instruction. We find the Eastern Bible, a product of the eastern arm of The Way, as used by St. Thomas, to provide us with better sustenance and guidance.
