Executive

Canadian devotees (at least 20 years old) who are available for election to the executive (the people who have to do things:) receive a membership package containing a pendant, a CD with eBook versions of the Eastern Bible and a host of important documents, laminated membership card and enrolment to the Community Building course.  Please provide a street address--parcels are usually not delivered to box addresses.

This package is also available for current members who whish to be active as capacity builders in the community.

Online Membership Services

During February-April '02 we will install the following services:

• Scripture and Documents Archive for a large collection of Eastern and Western material.
• Secure Online Shop for devotional items and studies
• Chat groups and mailing list discussions
• Weekly teaching and devotional
• Roster of worship and liturgical services for the south western Ontario and eastern Michigan area.
• Programme for spiritual retreats, and preparation for initiation rites and ordination training in the abovementioned areas.

Why have a password protected members-only web site?

Members meet online in virtual facilities where they like to talk freely and sometimes discuss personal issues among like-minded friends.  It is unfortunate that some people who do not agree with The Way find it necessary to come into our meetings for the purpose to harass and upset.

Healthy dialogue and argument has its place in forums where it is encouraged but most fundamentalist zealots do not respect those boundaries and will disrupt even a meditation or prayer session. 

It makes us feel a bit more at ease to know that subscribers to our meetings want to be there for the right reason.
