A warm Canadian welcome to Reverends Jean and Adele du Plessis

Brief biography

Reverend +Yajn du Plessis is one of five ordained Teachers presently serving Church of the East. 

He graduated from WITS University in South Africa with a four-year degree in Biblical Studies and successfully completed the three year seminary studies at Theological Education by Extension College in Johannesburg during 1995. Ordained by the Diocese of Idaho  in 1995 as Counsellor for Johannesburg, South Africa, where he and his wife Adele ministered to children in difficult circumstances since 1991.  As a couple who do almost everything together, including work and study, they started and managed various welfare programmes in Southern Africa as they ministered to congregations in the cities of Johannesburg and Pretoria.  Rev. Adele was ordained in 1996.

During 1997, at Nagar, Sylvassa, Rev. +Yajn was ordained as Teacher by Rev. +Yusa(iii).

Rev. +Yajn and his wife resides in Wallaceburg, Ontario from where they are in close proximity to the larger concentration of members in eastern Michigan and south western Ontario.
