Yoga of Jesus spirituality is mostly mystical and personal but the sense of community is never far away. 

Community

It is because of community that we grow. 

The eye is the window to the soul, teaches the Lord.  It is through the eyes of other people that we see ourselves as if in a mirror.  It is in the eyes of other people that we see the divine essence.  Through the eyes of community we see our hearts and human tendencies--good and bad. It is in service to community that we serve the Divine within and without.

Mysticism

One working definition of mysticism is that it is the 'immediate and direct experience of the presence of God'.

The Way of the Saviour is to cultivate this meditative state where we are more and more conscious of the presence of God in all. In the mystical state we read and experience deeper meanings in everything in and around us.  We learn to experience life not only with the faculties of mind but also with spirit.

Sacred Sensuality

Human sensuality is neither to be denied or extinguished.  Our senses are the tools through which we experience life in the human body.  We are incarnated in human bodies because we need to experience existence through human senses.

We need to learn, however, to enhance the senses and to experience all we can, and to make of those experiences mystical moments of learning.  We, the spirit, senses with five bodily senses and with the soul sense, (which is mind).  We (spirit) can experience this life and derive meaning from it only through the senses.

To be a fully developed sensual being is essential for spiritual growth and harmony.
